1. Someone with 9-12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Data Analytics.

2. Has experience in building Cloud-based – Data Lakes, Data Warehouse

3. 3-4 years of solid hands-on experience in Databricks. (Databricks certification is preferred)

a. Hands-on in Databricks.

b. Understand Lakehouse and have experience building data platform using Lakehouse.

c. Understands Medallion architecture and has experience modeling Bronze/Silver/Gold as per use cases.

d. Experience in Unity Catalogue and its usage.

e. Hands-on in building Python or Java-based pipelines in Databricks.

f. Hands-on in DLT (Delta Live Tables).

g. Hands-on autoloader.

h. Has experience in building scalable solutions for efficient data ingestion to Databricks.

i. Hands-on in Databricks workflow and orchestration.

j. Understand different Databricks architecture (data plane, control plane, etc.) and various deployment options.

k. Understands Data Security in Databricks. l. Experience in architecting and building data consumption layers for various types of downstream feed (ex. API, batch, real-time, pub/sub, etc.) from the Lakehouse.

4. Knowledge of CI/CD & DevOps. Hands-on experience is a bonus.

5. Understands data streaming and how that can be integrated with Databricks. Hands-on experience is a bonus.

6. Understands configuration (metadata)-driven data engineering pipeline approach.

7. 4-5 years worked in client-facing roles.

8. Experienced in preparing end-to-end project plans and comfortable in estimating efforts.

9. Experienced in working on Agile projects
